Participating Teams:

Game:

• 3×20 minutes, ice repair between periods
• warmup 5min before a match
• All teams are guaranteed to play 5 tournament games
• All teams will receive a diplomafor participating in the tournament
• Teams finishing 1st, 2nd or 3rd will each receive medals and cups
• There will be one Most Valuable Player selected for each team
• The winning team will win the CHALLENGE CUP
• If a playoff game /Czech Senior Extraleague, Sparta pro team/ is played home, then our tournament games will be played at Litomerice ice rink /Prague -Litomerice 75km/ April 5th-6th
• We expect 3×20 minutes stop time and two flooding between periods and we have to keep a game on time /possible only one flooding during a game/, warm up 5 minutes before first period with puck /all teams have their own pucks/

Tournament Rules:

1. Teams have to register in the tournament office at least 60 minutes before their first match. Registration will take place at Tesla Arena HC Sparta Praha – office of tournament. All teams will play at least one of the tournament games in Tesla Arena.
   Remember: Your team roster must include a list of all players, who starting in your team at the tournament.Team mangershave to control list of players before each games of the tournament and sign game sheet 3O minutes before each game of team at tournament office
2. Teams must have 2 sets of jerseys (light and dark). The home team will wear their light or white jerseys and will occupy the left side of the player’s bench.
3. Player registration or passport must be available on request.
4. Each team guaranteed 5 matches.
5. No protests are allowed. Tournament officials will consider any complaint or logical observations, when presented in a professional manner.
6. All teams must respect location of the sponsor’s logo on hockey equipment during the tournament.
7. Teams must be ready to go on the ice 15 minutes before your scheduled game time. All matches are played 3×20 minutes of actual time. Warm up (on the ice) is 5 minutes with own puck before each game.
8. When the difference in the score is by more than 5 goals, the game will revert to running time (the clock will not stop). In order to revert back to stop time, the difference must be less than 3 goals.
9. Two points are awarded for a win, one for a draw and zero for a loss. Should two teams be tied in the standings, the tie will decided in the following manner:
   a) winner of the game between the two teams who are tied;
   b) lower number of total penalty minutes in the tournament;
   c) most goals scored;
   d) fewest goals allowed;
   e) at least penalty during the tournament
   f) coin toss
10. Timeouts are allowed.
11. Any player who receives a game misconduct penalty or match penalty, will not play the rest of the game. Any player who receives a match penalty in the game will not start the teams’ next game in the tournament.
12. The tournament will be played under IIHF rules.
13. All players must have skate protector for the transition between ice rinks and dressing rooms.

Budget

• Team entry fee is 5000 CZK (non-refundable), paid when sending the application.
• Entry fee includes: Hotel accommodation + breakfast on hotel + lunch+dinner + additional service
• Entry fee does not include the cost of transport, accommodation or meals. Late payments will not be accepted!

All teams registered in the tournament can receive the following additional services (additional cost may be required):

• Full accommodation and meals (choice of the team)
• Bus service during your stay (including airport transfers)
• Translator dedicated to your team (English, French, German, Russian)
• Additional exhibition matches (as requested)
• On or off-ice practices or conditioning sessions

• Professional service throughout the stay

Tournaments Conditions:

All tournament participants respect their application to the organizer to accommodate participants in the tournament partner hotels / offers will be sent to / as well as all meals during the tournament will take place in partner restaurants of tournament, we will send you offer of accomodation/various price and level of hotels/ asap, need your request on hotel rooms /date of arrival, departure, how many travelling people, rooming list/
